The original boxwood hedging plant used all over Europe and the United States in formal gardens. Can be sheared into hedges, topiaries, pyramids, spirals; almost any shape imaginable. Faster growing than most other forms but still takes time to attain large size. The bright green foliage is very small and the habit is dense. Not tolerant of heavy or wet soils. Full sun or part shade.
